In order to eliminate the build up of static in the manufacturing process of printed circuit boards (PCB’S), a humidity level of around 55% is required. This is needed to stop any damage to the PCB’s caused by static electrical discharge. Not monitoring the RH level could lead to a significant drop in production.
Static electricity is caused by air heating in the production area and becoming drier. This creates a greater risk of damage to the PCB’s and can be eliminated by the use of a humidity control system.
Our humidification systems would add moisture to control this environment therefore maintaining the required humidity and production levels.
