Wagon and truck loading is usually by means of outloading hoppers or mobile plant, the initial flow of material results in the generation of airborne dust.

The principle for suppressing dust at this point is by using dry fog dust suppressing, creating a water mist blanket within the truck/wagon, the size of the system depends on the material, volume of material and drop height. Suppressing the airborne dust is achieved by using a number of dry fog nozzles within a contained area, should the process be open on site then plastic curtaining is required positioned around the vehicle, therefore, the entire area within the curtaining is fogged and all dust is suppressed.
