FAQs

In-duct humidification is a process where a humidifier adds moisture to the airflow within the ducts of a building’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. This method is used to increase the humidity levels in the air as it circulates throughout the building, improving comfort and potentially mitigating issues associated with dry air.

HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. It refers to the systems and technologies used to regulate the temperature, humidity, and air quality within an enclosed space, like a building. Essentially, it’s a comprehensive system for managing the indoor climate, ensuring comfortable and healthy environments.

The Viscore system uses Micro Drop technology from Merlin to raise the humidity levels in the production area, importantly without wetting any product, material or equipment.
