Gas Scrubbing

Gas Scrubbing

Spray nozzles are located in both spray towers and cyclone spray chambers for wet gas scrubbing. Through a series of spray nozzles, a scrubbing liquid is atomised and dispersed into the gas stream.

The sprayed droplets entrain and capture the dust particles through agglomeration and encapsulation. This effectively increases the size and mass of the particles, making them easier to collect in a subsequent filter or separation unit. The scrubbing liquid absorbs and neutralizes gaseous pollutants.

Therefore, the spray nozzle is a critical element to this process and ensuring a complete distribution and coverage of the sprayed liquid, in conjunction with droplet atomization and flow volumes.
