Reverse Osmosis

Drinking water which has been softened or filtered is pressed through a semipermeable filter membrane at high pressure.

This process creates pure water (permeate). The substances that do not pass through the filter moved to the drainage (concentrate) stream.

As such, the dissolved salts, potassium, sodium, chloride, bacteria, germs, sugars and particles are all removed.
